New Master of Clinical Science Degree at the University of Adelaide

The Master of Clinical Science (MClinSc) is a postgraduate research degree offered by the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Adelaide.  This degree, within the field of evidence-based healthcare supervised by staff of the Joanna Briggs Institute, aims to train students in research methodologies and techniques associated with evidence-based healthcare and in the critical evaluation of the evidence review and research carried out.

This research degree includes:

•    A full time, one semester structured program offered on-campus only in the Institute in Adelaide (including formal teaching on biostatistics, qualitative research methods, systematic reviews of quantitative, qualitative and economic evidence, and the translation of evidence into action

•    The conduct of a systematic review and/or an evidence implementation project and submission of a thesis based on this work
The Joanna Briggs Institute is recognised as an international driving force in the evidence-based healthcare movement and this course represents a unique opportunity to study with high profile, world leaders in the science of evidence synthesis, transfer and utilisation.
